Sharavathy Projects with vast experience in the power sector, ventured into EPC projects of Overhead Transmission Lines and Sub-stations. As an EPC contractor, the scope of work includes design, testing of towers and other equipment required for the construction of transmission lines and sub-stations and the construction activities from survey, civil works, erection to stringing and commissioning of equipments. Currently undertaking the construction of transmission lines ranging from 66 KV to 400 KV, Sharavathy Conductors has many fully commissioned lines under its belt. There are many ongoing projects of both transmission lines and substations well underway.

A youthful division with respect to the years that the overall group has been around,the lag time has been more than made up for with construction experience and quality reputation. During the course of the years, we have already executed hundreds of circuit kilometres of transmission lines up to 400 KV capacity and many sub-stations of 66/11 KV capacity.

Infrastructure Project Management Division

We are providing turnkey project management services for construction of transmission lines, sub-stations and setting up of new power conductor plants. Construction supervision can be provided up to commercial trial production. We have our own pool of expert technical personnel to carry out different engineering assignments for providing turnkey project consultancy services. Transmission Line and sub-station construction from the design phase right upto commissioning can be guided and monitored. Setting up of power conductor plants incorporating design, layout planning, installation & commissioning of plant & machinery and construction supervision.

Sharavathy conductors has undertaken many projects for various customers to help them take off from the fledgeling ideas into full blown operations. One of the prestigious assignments came Sharavathys' way when it was chosen to be the Indian Ambassadors for Conductor Manufacturing to the Burmese Government. The Indian Government placed the entire responsibility of start-to-end technical consulting and the full implementation for the Burmese Conductor Manufacturing plants.
