A feather in our cap is that a 220KV Monopole project we completed required embedded foundations which were designed and engineered for the first time in the world by Sharavathy. Another notable achievement is that the first 33KV GIS substation of Karnataka and first 220KV Hybrid substation of the power utilities of Karnataka have been executed by us. These projects required precise and detailed technical expertise. We are proud that our teams worked round the clock to ensure high quality design, engineering and execution of the projects on time.

Given the large CO2 emissions and overall environment pollution emitted from fuel powered vehicles, there’s a natural desire to transition to e-mobility. What’s promising is that the Indian government is encouraging this transition through policies and business incentives. The Indian government is aiming that 70% of all commercial cars, 30% of private cars, 40% of buses, and 80% of two-wheelers and three-wheelers sold in India by 2030 will be electric. Sharavathy believes it is has the expertise and track record to build and support charging infrastructure plans by fulfilling high quality substations, transmission lines, distribution lines and charging stations on time to meet the increasing demand.

Sharavathy is enthusiastic about this transition due to our proven experience to offer complete EPC solutions, from concept to the commissioning of EV charging infrastructure. Drawing from our vast and trusted expertise in EPC of T&D lines and substations we are excited to offer construction of the backend infrastructure needed for the EV charging stations. Furthermore, closer to the charging station, we can leverage our experience in microgrids and storage solutions to engineer and execute decentralized, self-sufficient EV charging stations.

 

Sharavathy undertakes turnkey transmission line projects involving monopoles for which we have worked with leading global companies. Over years of successful implementation, Sharavathy has gained expertise in this field. Sharavathy is presently the second largest EPC contractor for monopoles in India, with prospects to become the largest in the coming years. We are honoured to be set-apart from other EPC contractors as we are trusted for our high integrity, reliability and timely execution of problem solving projects with no compromise on quality and safety.

We are proud to be the first company to execute a monopole transmission line of KPTCL. The Jigani project involved 59 double circuit monopoles of 220KV class with embedded foundations which were designed and introduced for the first time in the world for this class by Sharavathy. The project leveraged our expert engineering prowess and was commissioned ahead of schedule. Since then, Sharavathy has completed multiple monopole projects and currently has a number of monopole projects well underway. Due to our technical experience and commitment to quality engineering, we have a growing order book for our timely executed and highly reliable monopole transmission lines.
